Octopus Logistics Limited is looking for reliable and motivated self-employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers / Couriers to join our growing team covering Whitby and the surrounding area.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the move, working independently and providing a high standard of service.

The role
As a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently within your designated delivery area.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Completing multiple parcel deliveries and collections
- Loading and organising parcels into your vehicle
- Following an efficient delivery route
- Checking addresses and delivery instructions
- Taking accurate delivery photographs where required
- Obtaining signatures where required
- Using the delivery app to complete and record deliveries
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Keeping customers informed through the app where appropriate
- Handling parcels carefully and responsibly
- Following road traffic laws and safe working practices
- Carrying out basic safety checks on your vehicle
What you’ll need
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Your own suitable vehicle
- Smartphone with a camera
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
- Confidence using GPS/navigation and smartphone apps
Previous multi-drop or delivery experience is preferred but not essential.
If you haven’t worked in parcel delivery before, full training will be provided.
