Company Information and Introduction:
Twisted Marine are making waves in the marine industry and have recently acquired Scorpion RIBs in Lymington. We have three sites accross the UK with service and suport centres in Brighton and Salcombe. Lymington is our UK HQ for manufacturing and we are looking for talenting boat builders, finishers and fitters to help us on our journey in making the best and most capable RIBs in the world.
The ideal candidate will have good experience in the marine industry having worked on a variety of projects. From engine installtions to 12v and 240v electrical systems including dash components and ancillary systems. The successful applicant will have a well rounded knowledge of mechanical systems and marine packaging including operating environments.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
The Role
As a Mechanical / Marine Fitter, you will play a key role in the build and installation of mechanical systems across our range of high-performance RIBs. Working closely with engineers, electricians and boat builders, you'll ensure every vessel leaves our workshop to the exceptional standards Twisted Marine is known for.
Whether you come from a marine, automotive, motorsport or mechanical engineering background, we're looking for someone who takes pride in producing first-class work.
Key Responsibilities
Install inboard and outboard engines to manufacturer specifications.
Fit mechanical, hydraulic and ancillary systems.
Install steering systems, controls, fuel systems and associated equipment.
Assist with the installation of 12V and 240V electrical components where required.
Install dashboard instrumentation, navigation equipment and helm controls.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and build specifications.
Carry out mechanical testing, fault finding and commissioning.
Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards.
Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet build schedules.
Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
Key Skills and Competencies:
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Marine Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or similar engineering role.
Experience installing marine engines and associated systems is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge with excellent fault-finding skills.
Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools.
Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
High attention to detail with a passion for quality workmanship.
Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team.
Own basic hand tools.
Full UK driving licence is advantageous.
