Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Part Time Chef with 5+ years experience to join our team in a vibrant golf club environment. The ideal candidate will cover days off for our full time cook and assist in meal preparation during busy events. Work as part of the team to help deliver high-quality dishes to both our members and visitors.
Duties:
- Work independently serving food to both members and visitors
- Assist in food preparation and cooking during large functions
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Help in stocking and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe handling of food product
- Prep dishes/supplies for following day
Experience/Qualifications:
- Level 2 & 3 Food & Hygiene Certificate
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Good knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the kitchen team
- Understanding of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong organisational skills to assist in maintaining an efficient kitchen operation
