Looking for people to join the team who are experienced in pitched roofing & flat roofing.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately to fit specific project requirements using hand tools and power tools
- Install various roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, and membranes with precision and attention to detail
- Repair or replace damaged or aging roofs to extend their lifespan and improve performance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during roofing operations
- Prepare surfaces by performing carpentry tasks such as framing or sheathing when necessary for roof installation
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards are met before project completion
- Assist with other construction tasks such as masonry, plumbing, or electrical work as needed to support project goals
Skills
- Proven experience in roofing installation and repair techniques
- Strong carpentry skills for framing, sheathing, and structural adjustments
- Knowledge of construction painting, masonry, welding, plumbing, and electrical systems is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, chisels, saws) and power tools (drills, nail guns)
- Ability to fabricate custom components using fabrication techniques when required
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to working at heights and on construction sites
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with other tradespeople
