Qi Van Systems is one of the leading UK commercial vehicle conversion companies, supporting blue chip companies within the Utility, Infrastructure, Construction, Engineering and Telecoms sectors.
We are now looking for Press Brake Setter/Operators to join our manufacturing team. You will need to be able to fully set the press brake as well as run the machine. There is a requirement to be able to read engineering drawings and understand the importance of producing a product to the same.
- Experience in programming, setting & operating Amada press brakes
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out tool changes between jobs.
- Quality Checking and using measuring equipment.
- Must be able to work independently and unsupervised.
- A positive attitude to work
- Good time management
- Experience with bending mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel, with a variety of thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 6mm.
- General Housekeeping
- Must be willing to learn and be flexible in the role as other duties may be required
- Good communication skills and demonstrate ability to work safely
Working day shifts: 7:30am till 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday) and for Friday 6:00am till 12:00pm
Up to £15.60 per hour depending on experience.
