Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Skilled Ground Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist with excavation, grading, and leveling to prepare sites for construction or landscaping projects
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently under supervision
- Perform routine maintenance on grounds equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Clear debris, remove weeds, and maintain cleanliness of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Support team members in setting up work zones, traffic control, and safety barriers
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently during daily operations
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete tasks on schedule and to high standards
Skills
- Proven experience in ground work, landscaping, or construction support roles preferred
- Ability to operate basic tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and power equipment safely
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to ground work and construction sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a team-oriented setting
Pay: £13.50-£16.50 per hour
