Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met with professionalism
- Serve food and beverages, including barista-style drinks if applicable, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle payments using POS systems, providing correct change and receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Support food preparation tasks as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with organising reservations and managing waiting lists during busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service and enhance guest satisfaction
Experience
- Must have experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and a customer-focused approach are most important
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments will be considered an advantage
- Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is beneficial
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure is essential
