Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team.
Cleaning times are 2 hours before 12.00pm, five days per week (Monday - Friday). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a residential block. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, providing a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and residents.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including communal areas (Kitchen/Lounge/Corridors and Entrance) Games room, Office, Bathrooms, Shower rooms and Toilets.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure effective sanitation.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to maintain a clean appearance.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain an organised supply area and ensure all cleaning materials are stored safely.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Current DBS preferred.
