Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Committee-run charity Pre-School at the heart of the Shurdington Community where our children’s happiness and safety are of utmost importance to us and we understand that every child has unique and individual needs which must be met for them to flourish.
We are open Monday to Friday 8.30 - 2.30 term time for 38 weeks therefore cover would be required on an adhoc basis between these times.
The applicant would need to be Level 2 or 3 and have experience of working within an Early Years Setting and would need to be prepared to carry out any necessary training needed such as Child Protection, First Aid and Food Hygiene. Courses will also be provided to enhance your Continuous Professional Development.
You will need to fully understand the EYFS, be aware of staffing ratios at all times and help with record keeping and making observations of the children. The candidate will support the full staff team by following our policies and procedures to provide a high standard of childcare.
We will require you to attend some staff meetings or inset days where needed, communicate with parents in a positive manner and be aware of differing needs of a wide range of children.
