Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Van Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver packages and goods across designated routes
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety protocols
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, reports, and documentation of all shipments
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management or stock organization when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is a plus
- Experience operating vans or light trucks in a commercial setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience is desirable for understanding inventory handling and logistics processes
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning for efficient deliveries
