Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedure
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and positive interactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations to uphold a welcoming environment
- Support cash handling, process payments accurately, and balance registers at shift end
- Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods effectively through excellent time management
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with a strong focus on guest services
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation
- Experience in serving beverages and food with professionalism and efficiency, barista experience advantageous
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash registers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue potential
