Glasgow Clyde College has a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join the Estates, Facilities and Energy department. Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this is a stand-alone role where the post-holder will provide an efficient and effective service across all campuses, installing, maintaining and testing the College's electrical services. You will provide proactive advice and technical support on maintenance regimes for these services and undertake project work. The role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across a diverse estate, contributing directly to the safe and effective operation of the College's learning environments.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician who has completed a recognised apprenticeship with industry experience. You will have excellent knowledge of health and safety practices as well as knowledge and professional skills associated with latest edition of IEE Wiring Regulations. Strong communication skills and a flexible approach to work are essential. A valid UK driving licence is required.
