Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding tasks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with bricklaying and masonry work, ensuring precise alignment and adherence to project specifications.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for various construction activities.
- Support roofing installations and repairs, ensuring waterproofing and structural integrity.
- Perform welding tasks in accordance with safety standards and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of materials and site setup as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements.
