Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant/Housekeeping professional to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred, and a friendly, professional attitude is essential to deliver exceptional service.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly.
- Follow health and safety procedures to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including handling linen and towels.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or special requirements with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
