About The role
Caretakers provide essential support to the day-to-day running of the College estate, including opening and closing buildings, carrying out routine checks, supporting events and examinations, and providing a visible estates presence to staff, students and visitors.
Main Responsibilities

Carry out daily opening and closing of the campus, ensuring buildings are safe and secure.
- Undertake routine site checks (e.g. lighting, heating, emergency exits, fire doors, water flushing) and report defects.
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks and repairs (e.g. replacing bulbs, unblocking drains, basic joinery and plumbing tasks).
- Support room setups and furniture moves for teaching, examinations and College events.

As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of £26,224 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
