Maintenance Manager - Central Buildings

Lead the Central Buildings maintenance team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance strategies to ensure highest standards and smooth operations. Oversee compliance, budgets and team performance while promoting a positive and motivated work culture.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and monitor maintenance contracts, budgets and stock control
- Ensure legal, health & safety compliance and high standards of work
- Conduct inspections of infrastructure to inform maintenance planning
- Oversee the team and contractors, driving performance and cost efficiency
- Promote a positive team culture focused on wellbeing and continuous improvement

Your working hours
- Full-time
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- These shifts will fall between 7am and 6pm and will include working 1 in 5 weekends (subject to change)
About you
- Level 3 or above City and Guilds or equivalent in either Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing
- Skilled in management and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong people management skills including coaching and performance management
- Skilled in managing multi-disciplinary teams, including task planning and prioritisation
- Effective communication at all levels
- Competent in budgeting, financial control and working independently under pressure
