Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumber with Carpentry Experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, as well as undertaking carpentry tasks to support various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and versatile skill set to contribute to diverse building and maintenance operations. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential settings
- Undertake carpentry tasks such as framing, fitting, and finishing work to support plumbing installations or renovations
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete projects accurately and efficiently
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with plumbing or carpentry components and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Assist with the assembly of structural elements or fixtures as required for project completion
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met within designated timelines
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within commercial or residential environments
- Strong carpentry background with hands-on experience in framing, fitting, or finishing work
- Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to plumbing or structural tasks is desirable
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and general building practices
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and material estimations
- Experience working with heavy lifting equipment or techniques is advantageous
- Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is appreciated
