Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Conduct light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
- Support clients with specialised care needs such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice, or frailty
- Assist clients to appointments, run errands, or assist to social activities
Preferred but non-essential Skills
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments demonstrating strong patient care skills
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s care, hospice support, and senior care best practices
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for driving duties
- First aid certification and CPR training to respond effectively in emergencies
- Capable of managing behavior challenges compassionately and employing effective behavior management techniques
- Skilled in meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs

Pay: £13.00-£22.00 per hour
