Experienced Trainee Dental Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding team in our well-established dental practices in Edinburgh, providing both NHS and Private Dental Care.
We are looking for an Experienced Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
This role is ideal for candidates who:
- Have a minimum of 6 months' dental nursing experience in a UK dental practice.
- Have completed or are completing their dental nursing course.
- Are ready to sit their NEBDN/NCFE dental nursing examination, or are awaiting GDC registration.
- Are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to developing their career in dentistry.
- Candidates under 20 years of age are welcome to apply.
Key Qualities and Skills
- Minimum 6 months' experience working as a trainee dental nurse.
- Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused.
- Professional, caring, and reliable.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident using computers and willing to learn practice management software such as Dentally.
- Able to work well under pressure in a busy clinical environment.

- Committed to maintaining high standards of infection prevention, cross-infection control, and decontamination procedures.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Training & Development

Salary
- Competitive hourly rate from £12.86 per hour, with regular salary reviews based on performance, experience, qualifications, and successful GDC registration.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday.
- Weekend availability may occasionally be required.
