Alloy Wheel Repairer – Derby
RW Cars Ltd is a fast-growing used car sales and finance specialist based in the heart of Derby. With over 20 years' experience in the motor trade, we mainly supply one-owner ex-company vehicles. We are now looking for an Alloy Wheel Repairer to join our refurbishment team.
The Role
Working on our in-house preparation line, you'll be responsible for returning alloy wheels to retail standard, including:
- Refurbishing kerbed, scuffed and corroded alloy wheels
- Preparation, filling, sanding and colour matching
- Diamond cut, painted and powder-coat style finishes (depending on experience)
- Removing, refitting and balancing wheels, and replacing tyres as required
- Final inspection and quality checks before vehicles go on sale
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in alloy wheel refurbishment or vehicle body repair is preferred
- A good eye for detail and finish quality
- Ability to work well within a small, friendly refurbishment team
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
Pay & Hours
- Basic Rate: £15.00 per hour
- Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours, Monday–Friday (overtime available when required)
- Annual Salary From: £33,100
