Ready Mix Tees Valley LTD (Ready Mix Group LTD) are looking to recruit x2 concrete mixer drivers. Applicants must hold a valid LGV license (class 2), CPC & digital tachograph card. No prior mixer/concrete experience required. Training will be provided.
Job Description
The role will be based in Middlesbrough. Loading concrete from our batch plants & delivering to a vast array of customers throughout Teesside on both residential & commercial projects. Some 'away days' may be required to cover our Leeds plant on occasion.
Applicants must be flexible regarding working hours. Some weekend working is involved. However, no nights out are required.
Salary Details paid calendar monthly, in arrears on the 4th.
- Basic week; 45hrs clocked (40hrs paid) = £29,598.40 annually/£14.23hr
- Overtime; 45hrs+ clocked (per week) paid at £19.07hr
- Average week ; Generally 45-55hrs
Bonus ; A weekly bonus of £40 will be paid assuming the following criteria are met;
- Truck cleanliness well maintained.
- No sickness.
- No (driver fault) truck damage.
Annual Leave Entitlement
29 days annually.
After 5yrs service: +1 day for every year worked to a total of 5 extra days.
The construction industry generally closes bank holidays and over the Christmas and New year period. You are required to use annual leave to cover these periods.
