Responsibilities
- Monitor feed, water, and poultry to ensure their health and comfort, adhering to animal care standards.
- Perform routine cleaning and equipment inspections.
- Collect eggs and operate egg packing machine.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of outdoor areas or horticultural elements that support poultry health.
- Lift egg baskets, eggs and poultry supplies.
- Maintain high level of site and personal biosecurity standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience with poultry is not necessary as full training will be given.
- Basic math skills for record keeping.
- Ability to perform lifting safely as part of daily duties.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
You must have no contact with pigs and poultry in other roles
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
