JOB SPECIFICATION FOR HOUSEKEEPERS AT THE JONAS CENTRE, REDMIRE
We are looking to recruit sessional cleaning staff to join our friendly and hardworking team at The Jonas Centre.
Shifts offered ad hoc; generally 6 hours on a Monday and/or Friday from 9am to 3pm to clean and prepare the Centre's twelve log cabins and meeting space on changeover days.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the Centre's cabins and communal spaces.
- To ensure the Centre is fully functional prior to the arrival of guests.
- To oversee specific cabin arrangements for guests.
- To maintain and observe safe working practices and compliance with your employers approach to Health and Safety, observing the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- To undertake your duties with due diligence, to the best of your ability and to a high standard of timely completion.
- To work effectively as part of a team and maintain a friendly and professional conduct to all guests and visitors at the Centre.
- To undertake all duties required by the Head of Housekeeping to the best of your ability.
- To maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

We are committed to providing a place for resting, seeking and engaging with God, where individuals and groups can enjoy a peaceful and affordable break all year round.

Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
Pay: £12.75 per hour
