Join a Stable, Successful and Supportive Home
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established therapeutic children's home with a stable, experienced team.
The home is currently rated Good overall, with Outstanding in Leadership & Management, and has been successfully led by the current Registered Manager for the past three years. This vacancy has arisen because our current Deputy Manager is progressing into a Registered Manager position within one of our other residential homes, creating an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our leadership team. We are proud to invest in our people and actively promote career progression from within.
Our long-term vision is to support every young person to develop independence, confidence and the essential life skills they need to thrive.
Our Young People
Our home currently provides care for three incredible children aged between 8 and 11 years old. Each child has experienced significant early life trauma and presents with a range of individual needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD, autism, attachment needs and significant developmental delays.
Despite the challenges they have faced, every child has made fantastic progress through the consistency, nurture and dedication of our team. They are funny, intelligent, caring and full of personality, making every day rewarding and unique.
The children love making the most of our large garden and enjoy spending quality time with trusted adults. Whether it’s swimming, visiting theme parks, trampolining, trips to the beach, exploring local parks or trying new activities, our team is committed to creating positive experiences, building confidence and helping each child achieve their potential.
Our home is registered to care for up to five children aged 6–12 years on admission with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and learning disabilities (LD). We are looking for a Deputy Manager who shares our passion for providing therapeutic, child-centred care and who is committed to helping children continue to thrive.
