Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Weekend Receptionist to provide exceptional front-desk support during weekend hours. This role involves managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient with office software, and have previous clerical experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop organisational skills within a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette
- Greet visitors warmly and assist with their enquiries
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office
- Maintain organised records and files both digitally and physically
- Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Support team members with ad hoc clerical tasks as required
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or administrative background
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Good communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Previous clerical experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates
This role is ideal for organised individuals looking to utilise their administrative skills in a supportive environment during weekend hours. Will include weekend work. Hours will be 4 days out of 7 from 15.00-23.00 hours
Must be able to cover holidays
