MCR Pathways Mentoring Co-Ordinator

Pro-rated for 30 hours (£16,509 + pension contribution)
Join us and be part of a great team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to facilitate and deliver a mentoring programme that can change the lives of young people.
The successful candidate will be able to operate with a high degree of accuracy. They will be proficient with ICT and will communicate effectively with high levels of written English. The role holder will be required to complete tasks in digital format as well as communicating with staff, students, the mentors and parents. This role is student facing and will include delivering some mentoring with small groups of our younger children.
MCR Pathways is a life-changing charity, however, you will be employed by the school to deliver their programme, recruiting and training mentors, matching mentors with students, as well as delivering some group sessions. Communication is the key, along with maintaining accurate records and helping to keep parents informed and engaged with the programme.
Hours will require working until 4.00pm, to enable the following day’s work to be planned with your line manager. The start time is negotiable.
You will be a self-starter, delivering a proven programme that impact on young people’s confidence and well-being, as well as their progression to post-16 provision. Previous experience would helpful but not essential. Full training will be given.
