Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Female Ayurveda Doctor / Therapist / Yoga Instructor to join our holistic healthcare team at our Ayurveda Clinic in the UK. Preference will be given to candidates who are also experienced in conducting Yoga classes and training sessions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering authentic Ayurvedic consultations, assessing and diagnosing patient health conditions, and recommending personalised treatment plans based on traditional Ayurvedic principles. In addition, the role involves leading Yoga classes to support patients’ overall wellbeing and lifestyle improvement.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to promote natural healing and wellness through established Ayurvedic practices, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and comfort at all times.
Candidates must be based in the UK and eligible to work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Ayurvedic assessments and consultations with patients.
- Diagnose health issues based on Ayurvedic principles, including pulse diagnosis and observation.
- Develop customised treatment programmes incorporating herbal remedies, dietary advice, lifestyle modifications, and Panchakarma therapies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients about Ayurveda’s benefits and promote holistic health practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care when necessary.
- Stay updated with advancements in Ayurvedic medicine through continuous professional development.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Ayurveda, including herbal medicine, Panchakarma therapies, and dietary guidelines.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy to effectively assess and treat patients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically.
- Organised approach to managing patient records and treatment plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
