About the Role
Havoheal Physiotherapy UK LTD is looking for an HCPC-registered Physiotherapist to join our growing home-visit physiotherapy service across Birmingham and surrounding areas.
This is a zero-hours position, offering flexibility without guaranteed weekly hours. You will be offered work according to patient demand, location and your availability and will be paid for hours worked in accordance with the employment contract.
The role is ideal for physiotherapists looking for flexible additional work alongside NHS, private practice or other professional commitments.
What You'll Do
You will travel to patients' homes and provide professional, patient-centred physiotherapy within your scope of practice. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting physiotherapy assessments in patients' homes
- Developing individual treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Delivering appropriate evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
- Supporting mobility, strength, balance and functional movement
- Providing rehabilitation and exercise guidance
- Supporting appropriate post-operative rehabilitation
- Monitoring progress and adapting treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records
- Recognising red flags and escalating or referring appropriately
- Communicating professionally with patients, families and other healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Following safeguarding, infection-control, lone-working and confidentiality procedures
Essential Requirements
You must have:
- Recognised Physiotherapy degree or equivalent qualification
- Current HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
- Right to work in the UK (WE DO NOT SPONSOR)
- Good clinical assessment and reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in patients' homes
- Appropriate understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
- Ability to travel own vehicle or public transport
Where driving is required, you will need a valid driving licence, access to a suitable vehicle and appropriate insurance for business use.
Desirable
Previous experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous:
- Community physiotherapy
- Home-visit physiotherapy
- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Older adult rehabilitation
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Mobility and balance rehabilitation
- NHS or private physiotherapy
- CSP
Pay & Working Hours
£30–£32 per hour (per working hours only)
This is a zero-hours contract. There are no guaranteed minimum weekly hours. Work is offered according to patient demand, geographical requirements and your availability.
You will be paid for working time in accordance with the terms of your contract.
