Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and adaptable Peripatetic Manager/Interim Manager to lead and oversee care operations across multiple care settings on a temporary basis. This dynamic role involves stepping into various care homes or assisted living facilities, ensuring high standards of senior care, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong management background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for residents. Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on management and leadership across multiple care homes or assisted living facilities on an interim basis.
- Oversee the implementation and review of personalized care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Supervise and support care staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in nursing, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, licensing standards, and company policies.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes resident well-being, dignity, and independence.
- Conduct regular audits of care quality, documentation accuracy, and operational procedures.
- Act as a liaison between staff, residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior and dementia care.
- Strong leadership abilities with previous supervising or management experience in a care home setting.
- In-depth knowledge of care planning, medication administration, and Alzheimer’s or dementia-specific practices.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate teams and engage with residents’ families effectively.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different environments while maintaining high standards of care.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to home care services and nursing facilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to person-centered approaches and continuous quality improvement.
