Enrolment Consultant – 9 Month Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)
Fully Remote
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 + performance bonus
Instep is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Enrolment Consultant to join our Onboarding team on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
You’ll play a key role in supporting apprenticeship enrolments, ensuring candidates meet eligibility and compliance requirements, and delivering a smooth, high-quality onboarding experience for learners and employers.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting candidates and employers through the apprenticeship enrolment process
- Assessing eligibility, including English and maths requirements
- Managing compliance documentation (Apprenticeship Agreements, Training Plans, etc.)
- Ensuring accurate data entry and reporting in onboarding systems
- Applying ESFA funding rules to confirm programme acceptance
- Delivering excellent customer service via phone, email, and digital channels
- Acting as a safeguarding advocate, recognising, responding to, and reporting safeguarding concerns in line with policy and statutory guidance
What we’re looking for
- Experience supporting funded learning or apprenticeship programmes
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and workload management
- Confident communication skills with learners and colleagues
- Experience using MIS systems (Aptem desirable) and Microsoft Office
- Level 2 English and maths (or equivalent)
Bonus Scheme
Earn £10 per successfully processed apprentice start, paid monthly, based on compliance checks, ILR entry, and funding claims. Subject to completion of probationary period.
