Your role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in leading the night team while ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely administering, recording and auditing medication.
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care with dignity and compassion.
- Leading and supporting the care team throughout the night.
- Reviewing and updating care plans to reflect residents' changing needs.
- Working closely with GPs, district nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
- Promoting a safe, welcoming and caring environment for residents and colleagues alike.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (essential).
- Has experience in a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader role within a residential or nursing home.
- Is confident with medication administration and care planning.
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding care for older people.
- Leads with kindness, professionalism and a positive attitude.
