Our client, Flowtech Industrial Services, is a well-established mechanical contractor delivering high-quality plumbing, heating, and mechanical installations across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors throughout the UK.
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Plumbers to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to candidates who enjoy working on varied projects and are open to nationwide travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Install mechanical plumbing systems across commercial, industrial, and domestic sites
- Carry out pipework installations using a variety of materials (copper, steel, plastic, etc.)
- Work on plant room installations, including pumps, valves, and associated equipment
- Install and maintain heating systems and mechanical services
- Perform fault finding, maintenance, and repair work
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Test, commission, and ensure systems are fully operational
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on all sites
- Represent the business professionally when working on client premises
- Travel nationwide and stay away when required
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid CSCS Card
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- G3 Unvented Qualification
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Plumber within commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of pipework and mechanical installations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own hand tools
- Flexible approach to travel and overnight stays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or refurbishment projects
- Knowledge of plant rooms and mechanical building services
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Additional site certifications (e.g. IPAF, PASMA)
