Shape Hanover’s future!
At Hanover, innovation has a clear purpose, helping older people live well, independently and connected to their communities.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Digital, Growth & Innovation to help us turn that purpose into new opportunities, better services and lasting impact.
This is an exciting time to join us. We are investing in digital technology, transforming how we work and exploring new opportunities across technology-enabled care, digital services, housing and growth, therefore we are looking for someone who can bring together strategic dgital leadership, innovation and commercial thinking to help shape what comes next.
Could this be you
- Are you a strategic digital leader who can see beyond technology to the difference it can make?
- Can you turn ideas into practical change, balancing ambition, pace, risk and value?
- Can you build trusted relationships, inspire colleagues and bring people with you?
- Are you curious about what is possible and confident enough to challenge how things are done?
If so, we would love to hear from you!
What you will do
- Strengthen our use of data and insight to improve decision-making and customer outcomes.
- Shape Hanover’s digital future, developing our next five-year Digital Plan.
- Lead innovation, creating a focused pipeline of ideas that solve real customer and organisational challenges.
- Identify opportunities for growth, particularly across housing, care and technology-enabled services.
- Lead transformation, ensuring technology investment translates into lasting improvements.
- Build partnerships across housing, health and social care, technology and the wider sector.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of curiosity, collaboration and confidence.
What success will look like
Digital and innovation will be firmly connected to Hanover’s strategy and delivering measurable impact.
Customers will experience better services. Colleagues will have better tools and information. Innovation will be focused on outcomes rather than activity.
Most importantly, Hanover will have a clear digital and innovation roadmap for its next stage of growth.
Who are we looking for
About you:
- We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong track record in digital, transformation, innovation or technology-enabled change.
- You will bring strategic thinking, commercial awareness and strong programme leadership, alongside the ability to influence at Executive and Board level.
- Just as importantly, you will be curious, collaborative, empathetic and outcome focused. You will know that successful transformation is ultimately about people, not technology.
- Experience in housing, health and social care, local government or another purpose-led organisation would be advantageous, but we are open to exceptional candidates who can bring relevant experience and fresh thinking from other sectors.
- A genuine passion for helping people.
- An ability to demonstrate our values of promoting inclusion, accountability, respect, and collaboration.
- An ability to work flexibly.
- An ability to treat people with empathy and recognise the rights of choice and independence.
