We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our well- established and friendly Practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality reception and administration duties and should be able to demonstrate good organisational and communication skills. This should complement a can-do attitude and strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and work as a part of a team.
Post offered is for 24 hours per week, Monday-Friday on a rota basis. Flexibility between the hours of 08:00-18:30 is essential, with the expectation to cover sickness and holiday absences when required.
About us
We are a small and friendly team, managing a list size of approximately 2,400 patients, with a ‘Good’ CQC rating.
We use clinical systems EMISweb and Docman10.

Job responsibilities
Core responsibilities of the role:
- To provide a quality reception service
- Input and retrieve data from the clinical system as required
- Assist with the distribution of information and correspondence
- Assist with repeat prescriptions
- Assist with service provision monitoring
- Scanning and coding
- Assist with referrals
- Assist with records movement
- Stock monitoring
- Clinic management
- Liaise with a wide range of staff, patients and visitors
- First point of contact for patient complaints and queries
- Compliance with all Practice policies and procedures

This postholder will also uphold the Practice’s protocols and policies, carrying out their role with compassion and professionalism.
This role will support the wider team with:
- Admin audits
- Participation in shared learning across the Practice
- Participation in local initiatives to enhance patient care
