Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person to join our team on part time hours (15 per week) in the role of Samples Co-ordinator working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings in our Wheatley office. We are seeking someone who has strong organisation skills with good attention to detail. This person will be a team player and able to carry boxes as part of the role.
Duties
To manage the samples process for Marketing and Sales teams, ensuring sufficient stock is held onsite and is despatched securely and on time:
- Manage and coordinate sample requirements across the business using a variety of software applications
- Coordination and management of sample requirements from overseas wineries and UK warehouses
- Offloading cases of wine, picking, packing, securely dispatching, and stock replenishment of all samples
- Manage customs clearance and monitor packages in transit
- Manage and coordinate courier dispatches
- Manage wine and packaging materials inventory, ensuring appropriate levels of stock are available
- Management of stock rotation and recycling of packaging where appropriate
- Accurately maintain inventory records. Carry out regular stock checks and report discrepancies
Requirements
- Good communicator as roles involves interacting with various internal & external roles
- Good IT skills – Microsoft Office – Outlook; Word & Excel
- Basic experience using internal systems & supply chain processes advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
