We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Nurse to join our dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Dentist providing chairside clinical assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
- Preparing and sterilising dental equipment and instruments.
- Have a warm friendly caring approach to support our patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes with organisational precision
- Ensuring compliance with cross infection control and health and safety regulations
- Support the dental team with general administrative duties as required
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using IT systems, accommodating patient needs and practice requirements.
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and provide accurate information regarding treatments and appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with patient care by providing relevant information and ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Process payments and handle administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and updating patient details.
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean reception area.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Basic IT literacy, including experience with dental or medical management software is preferred.
- Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude and a genuine interest in patient care.
- Ability to work well within a team whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
