Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 2 HGV Drivers to become part of our expanding teams in Haydock (WA11 9SR) . This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary starting from £38,000 per year, with additional opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Details
Salary: Starting at £38,000 per year, plus overtime and benefits.
Hours: Based on a 55 week inclusive of breaks.
Location: Haydock, WA11 9SR.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, with optional overtime days available.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate Class 2 HGV vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections.
· Perform a variety of transport tasks, ranging from general haulage to Pallet Track deliveries/collections.
· Ensure the timely and accurate transportation of goods to their destinations.
· Complete all relevant paperwork and digital logs accurately and promptly.
· Conduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any issues identified.
· Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
· Hold a valid UK Class 2 (C+E) HGV licence.
· Possess a Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
· Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in HGV driving.
· Experience with General Haulage Curtain sider trailers is desired.
· Strong understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
· Demonstrate a flexible, can-do attitude and a commitment to safety.
