Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Aqua Fit Instructor and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals through engaging and energetic water-based exercise classes. Duties
- Design and deliver high-energy Aqua Fit classes tailored to various skill levels and age groups
- Demonstrate proper techniques for water exercises, ensuring safety and effectiveness throughout each session
- Motivate participants to stay engaged, maintain proper form, and achieve their personal fitness objectives
- Monitor participant progress and provide personalized guidance or modifications as needed
- Maintain a safe environment by enforcing pool rules and responding promptly to any emergencies or safety concerns
- Prepare class plans, track attendance, and record participant feedback for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure equipment is well-maintained and the pool area remains clean and safe
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, preferably with water-based programs
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate diverse groups of participants
- Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to exercise movements and injury prevention in aquatic environments
- Certification in water safety, CPR, and first aid is highly desirable
- Prior experience leading group fitness classes or teaching sports coaching is preferred
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for promoting health and wellness through engaging activities
