We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team. In this vital leadership role, you will support the overall management of the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education for children while maintaining a positive environment for staff and families. Your passion for teaching and child development will help shape the future of our young learners.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a motivated team environment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by implementing rigorous health and safety protocols
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, communicating effectively about their child's progress and nursery activities
- Contribute to staff training sessions, promoting best practices in early childhood education and care
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes for nursery staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare settings, with a strong background in teaching
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to childcare services
- Passionate about child development, learning through play, and creating an inclusive environment

Pay: £28,210.00-£32,240.00 per year
