We are seeking to recruit a Finance Co-ordinator for our Student Services function across the three campuses of Shrewsbury College.
The successful candidate will lead the continued development and delivery of our student financial support offer, working closely with our talented team to help remove financial barriers to learning and support student success across a broad range of programmes. The role will include overseeing access to financial assistance, including the administration of government-funded bursaries and support funds, as well as working with charitable organisations and external partners to maximise the financial support available to our students.
Shrewsbury College is Shropshire’s largest college. The college operates at three campuses in Shrewsbury. We deliver a broad range of vocational and higher-level courses to 2300 16–18-year-olds, 4000 adult students, 300 HE students and 950 apprentices at our London Road Campus. 2100 A-Level students are taught at our Welsh and English Bridge Campuses in the centre of Shrewsbury. The college was inspected in March 2025 and judged to be ‘Outstanding’, with a ‘Strong’ contribution to skills. The college was recognised as a top 10 employer by The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 and enjoys ‘outstanding’ financial health.
