We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of properties, supervising maintenance teams, and liaising with tenants and contractors. Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and maintenance of residential or commercial properties, ensuring all aspects are functioning efficiently.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, coordinating repairs and upgrades as required.
- Develop and implement property management strategies to optimise operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess property conditions and identify repair or improvement needs.
- Manage tenant relations, including lease agreements, rent collection, and addressing tenant enquiries or complaints.
- Prepare reports on property performance, maintenance schedules, and budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including electrical and mechanical safety standards.
- Utilise project management skills to plan renovation projects or large-scale repairs effectively.
- Maintain detailed schematics and documentation related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems within the properties.
Experience
- Proven management experience within property or facilities management roles.
- Demonstrable project management skills with experience overseeing maintenance or renovation projects.
- Must have Driving Licence or your own reliable car as the role entails quite a bit of driving.
- Strong leadership qualities with previous supervising experience in technical or maintenance teams.
- Mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with schematics, PLCs, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Electrical experience is highly desirable to support troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
