Job Title: Hostess
Days: 2-3 Days/Week
Overview:
We’re looking for a confident and welcoming team leader to lead our front-of-house team at SMOQUE’S. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys working with people, and can deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Managing walk-ins, and orders efficiently
- Ensuring smooth order flow and clear communication with the kitchen and management
- Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving minor issues calmly and professionally
- Training and supporting new team members
- Ensuring the front-of-house area is clean, organised, and presentable
- Taking initiative during busy periods to keep service running smoothly
- Setting the tone for a positive, welcoming atmosphere
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hostess or front-of-house experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, organised, and calm under pressure
- A positive attitude with a guest-first mindset
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
