Cleaner – FTC for 24 months

Pay: £13.45 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm
Contract: 24 month fixed-term contract
Parking: Free on-site parking
Requirement - Full driving licence required and own transport due to site location and no transport links
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join the team providing cleaning and support services between 9:00am and 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.
What You’ll Do:

Ensure you have a thorough knowledge of all areas requiring cleaning.

Operate WMF machines and other cleaning equipment safely and correctly.

Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently, thoroughly and to the required standards, including daily, weekly and monthly tasks.

Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines.

Use appropriate safety signage, including wet-floor signs, and warn customers of potential hazards where necessary.

Receive and store site stock appropriately.

Keep cleaning and food storage areas clean, tidy and organised.

Ensure all equipment is stored safely and correctly.

Follow all security procedures relating to cleaning materials, equipment and buildings.

Report low levels of cleaning materials and beverage vending stock to the General Services Manager so replacements can be ordered.

Report any potential hazards or Health & Safety concerns to the General Services Manager.

Keep all cleaning equipment clean and in safe working order.

Follow all Sodexo company policies, procedures and client site rules.

Comply with all statutory requirements and company policies relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, fire safety and COSHH.

Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by management, including changes to work patterns where required.
What You’ll Bring:

Previous experience working as part of a cleaning team.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-
Experience working within a standards or compliance-focused environment.
-
Good understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements.
-
Desirable: NVQ or BICSc qualifications.
