Job Description:
Springco is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our team. Our factory specialises in the production of high-quality springs, wire form parts, CNC, and precision cutting and drilling components. The successful candidate will begin working on the finishing process: using presses, bowers and guillotines, power saws, mills. This also involves deburring, gauging and other engineering processes.

Main Duties:
- Finishing Work Processes: Perform finishing operations, including deburring, polishing, and inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Operate Milling Machines: Set up, operate, and maintain milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Saw Operations: Utilise various types of saws to cut materials to the required dimensions and shapes.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of products during and after the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company standards.
- Equipment Safety Checks: Perform routine checks on machines and equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to safely and effectively carry out the duties of the role.
- Ability to use measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, etc.).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Technical training or certification in machine operation is beneficial but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving materials.
- Good vision and hearing to detect machine malfunctions.
Day Shift 7:00-5:30 Monday - Thursday
