Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe working environment. Previous hotel experience is considered a valuable asset, demonstrating excellent customer service and organisational skills. This position offers an opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various production machinery, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Assist with the assembly, packaging, and inspection of products to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Support the movement of materials and finished goods throughout the production facility
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on time
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to management
- Participate in ongoing training programmes to enhance technical skills and safety awareness
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred, showcasing strong organisational skills and customer service orientation
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining quality standards
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20kg safely
