Production & Logistics Assistant
Location: BD16 1BL - Harden, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Production & Logistics Assistant to join our Operations team at our Harden site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
You’ll play a key role in supporting production planning, logistics, stock control and job progression, acting as the link between our office, production and warehouse teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting production planning and scheduling to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
- Monitoring job progress and maintaining visibility across the production process.
- Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Managing production data and supporting Shop Floor Data Capture systems.
- Monitoring stock levels and raising purchase requirements where necessary.
- Booking couriers and coordinating deliveries and collections.
- Preparing delivery notes, dispatch paperwork and export documentation.
- Creating packaging specifications and box labels.
- Supporting goods in and materials control.
- Liaising with production teams, suppliers and logistics partners.
- Assisting with continuous improvement projects across production and warehouse operations.
- Supporting operational activities across multiple company sites when required.

- Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Can confidently manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Is comfortable working with data and documentation.
- Has strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Communicates effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
- Enjoys solving problems and improving processes.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Has previous experience within a manufacturing, production or logistics environment (preferred but not essential).
