Job Description
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and friendly Garden Centre Restaurant Kitchen Porter Team Member to work in the restaurant department at the home of the world famous Peter Beales Roses.
Our Garden Centre at Attleborough, Norfolk, is renowned for its quality range of plants including the UK's largest selection of roses in a garden centre. We have been breeding some of the most exquisite varieties in Norfolk for over 50 years. We have 30 prestigious RHS Chelsea Gold Medals and numerous other awards.
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Front of House Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will help create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring excellent service from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Key Responsibilities
· Supporting work carried out by kitchen chefs
· Prepare of food
· Clean and clear tables
. Wash pots and clean kitchen and other areas
Service Delivery
· Support smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
· Support staff in preparation of quality food
Teamwork & Communication
· Work closely with kitchen teams to ensure efficient service
· Communicate with others
· Assist colleagues where needed to maintain service standards
Health, Safety & Hygiene
· Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene procedures
· Maintain cleanliness standards in line with company and legal requirements
· Comply with all restaurant policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
Essential
· Strong communication and people skills
· Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
· Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
· Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent service
Preferred
· Previous experience in hospitality
· Knowledge of food safety and basic allergen awareness
