Job Overview
At H&H Recovery not only do we specialise in vehicle breakdown and recovery, but we also offer our mechanical services to those clients who find them selves stranded with no local garage or to far from home to organize repair. that's where we come in uplift the vehicle in question and turn around a high quality repair as quickly as possible to get our clients back on the road and home to safety, in addition to said jobs we carry out most of our own fleet maintenance in house. Typically we work on all make and models, we have a large selection of diagnostic equipment and specialist tools in house, but it is essential you have your own basic tool box at least.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Maintain an efficient, clean and tidy work area at all times following strict health and safety guidelines.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
