Job Summary
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic Design Assistant to join our sales team! Please note: Knowledge of and the ability to read technical drawings is essential, as this is required in our industry.
Duties
- Assist using AutoCAD & Solid Works to create accurate 3D models and technical drawings.
- Support project management tasks by organizing files, and coordinating with team members to meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the creation of construction documents and detailed CAD drawings that adhere to project specifications and standards.
- Maintain organized records of all project files, revisions, and correspondence for seamless workflow continuity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in , AutoCAD, Solid Works.
- Experience with CAD software for drafting and technical detailing is required.
- Strong project skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction processes and experience working on building projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and contractors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of work - 0830-1700 Monday to Friday with flexibility as required
