The successful candidate will carry out a variety of construction, maintenance, repair and remedial works across commercial and construction sites. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has good practical skills, takes pride in their work and can work independently.

- General building and maintenance works
- Minor brickwork and blockwork
- Plastering and making good
- Carpentry and basic joinery
- Door, frame and ironmongery repairs
- Flooring repairs and replacement
- Basic tiling works
- Painting and decorating
- Minor plumbing and maintenance tasks
- Groundworks and external works
- Concrete and paving repairs
- Small demolition and strip-out works
- Installation of fixtures, fittings and signage
- Making good after building works
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and tidy
- Working safely and following RAMS and site instructions
- Working on commercial construction and facilities management sites
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in construction, maintenance or handyman work
- Has good practical and problem-solving skills
- Can carry out a range of general building tasks
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Has good attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a professional attitude when working on client sites
- Is willing to travel to different sites when required
- Holds a valid CSCS card or relevant construction qualification
Desirable
- Experience working on commercial sites
- CSCS Skilled Worker or equivalent
- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Working at Height
- Health & Safety awareness
- IPAF/PASMA
- Full UK driving licence
